At Liferay, I had the opportunity to work on many different projects, from consultancy to product. I worked with teams across the world to deliver global projects.
On the consultancy side, I worked facilitating workshops to understand the needs of the client SPS Global, for the development of a workplace solution that helps SPS clients to ask for services and materials.

Another relevant project was São Paulo’s city hall website, the largest city in Latin America, where I held workshops and designed the structure and information architecture of the portal.

Working in product side, I was responsible for the product called Objects, a low/no-code application to create databases and applications in an easy and fast way. For example, the tool “root model” inside Objects, a feature to create the objects with the same permissions using an inheritance strategy. For this, we did usability tests to design the best solution the developers.

Another example of a complex project is the partnership between Liferay and Camunda were I was part of the process to define the experience of creating complex applications using automation and low-code processes (for more details of this project, please get in contact).

One important thing, it is that at Liferay, the designers always work using the global design systems, so the designers need to be connected with the right patterns and always in contact with the design system team to align and develop new components.
Also, as the manager responsible for LATAM designers, I had the opportunity to work as a mentor for the designers’ career growth plan and also with other design leads and project managers to think about different workflows for the team.
